D-A Introduces a Name Change

    D-A Lubricant Company, Indianapolis, IN—D-A Lubricant Company, Inc. has announced a name change in the line-up for Rock Drill. The new names are Rock Drill 46 (light or winter grade – formerly called Rock Drill Winter), Rock Drill 100 (medium grade – formerly called Rock Drill Medium), Rock Drill 150 (heavy grade – formerly called Rock Drill 500 or Rock Drill 220) and Rock Drill 320 (extra heavy grade – no name change for this viscosity). The numerical references in the product names refers to the actual ISO Grade.

    D-A Rock Drill Lubricant has been specially formulated for rock drill air line lubrication, and can be used in all pneumatic percussion-type drills. (Also makes an excellent line oil for hand-held air tools such as Paving Breakers, Hammers, Chippers, Tampers, Scalers, Impacters, etc.) It is compounded with solvent-refined naturally high viscosity index base oils, and provides longer drill life under unusually high temperature conditions. In addition, Rock Drill gives up to 70% greater drilling distance per gallon vs. competitive oils, saving money by extending product use. D-A Rock Drill Lubricant contains superior anti-wear and extreme pressure properties, reducing downtime and expensive repairs for pneumatic rock drills.
