Oil Analysis Report This is the beginning and first level of information for any Planned Preventive Maintenance Program based on used oil analysis - this is the complete report. CLS DataLink makes this available on line or in a printable format for your convenience. You choose which compartment to review - and at what warning levels. Once you have viewed a report, the data remains available to you, but is not listed as bold in the results box. This report not only shows the results of the single test, it shows a history for that compartment as well. From here you can print your Field Sample Report for the next oil sample. You can choose to input your information - or to generate a Field Sample Report with most of the fields already filled in. By clicking on the "Submit FSR" button, a FSR will be generated. This sends the information you input into the database and creates a bar code to reference the information once the sample gets to the lab. A page is created which prints two copies of the report, one for you to keep and one for you to send in with the actual sample. You may also create blank FSR this same way - and the bar code will reference no pre-input data. This option is for manually filling in the information in the field. The more accurate and complete you are with the data, the better overall results you will have in trending and monitoring your equipment over time. All of this power is available to CLS DataLink users. However, CLS DataLink users have a greater depth of on-line analysis available. Here are a few samples of the additional analysis tools available to CLS DataLink users: Fleet Sample Status Report You select the date range and a complete listing of all compartments and warning status results is available for your reference. This is an excellent tool to locate problem areas over your entire fleet. Unit History Summary Report The results of this report allow you to examine the performance of each compartment of the selected unit. If you identify a trouble area, you can use CLS DataLink to examine other similar units in your fleet to see if this problem is unit-specific or if it is fleet-wide. Planned and preventive maintenance will lower your overall operating costs. Missed Units Report Don't guess or try to remember if a compartment on a unit has been changed or sampled. Use the Missed Units Report to tell you all the compartments in your fleet that have not been sampled within your specified date range. This is especially helpful in that it gives you the results of the last test on record for your consideration. Data Download and E-mail toYourself Instantly The Data Download options are just like the options for selecting data for the Oil Analysis Reports (OAR). You are allowed to download by Equipment Type, Compartment, Compartment Location, Compartment Manufacturer, and dates. Or you can download by any combination of options. They can also be sorted by Unit Number, Compartment, or Condition. E-mail your data to any e-mail address or to yourself. Your e-mailed file will be ready to load into Excel or your maintenance program. Graphing Results at Compartment, Unit or Fleet Level DataLink's graphing options give you a visual representation of your used oil analysis results. You can look at how a single compartment, an equipment type or your entire fleet is aging. You can look at wear metals either singly or in groups. The sample below is a chart of dozer diesel engines for an entire fleet - looking at iron, chromium and aluminum over oil hours at drain.
